RPC Promens Montpont enhances containers for agrochemicals market

RPC Promens Montpont has enhanced its containers for the Agrochemicals market, integrating plastics light weight and easy handling with better robustness and durability.

The containers are available across sizes ranging from 100ml, 250ml, 500ml, 1litre and 5 litres. They can now be specified in mono HDPE as well as co-extruded PE/PA and PE/EVOH (except 100ml).

They offer various options to meet the individual characteristics and protection nedds of different chemical formulae.

RPC said bottles from 100ml to 1 litre are available with a KS50 neck, which is ideal for induction heat sealing along with a PET/ALU seal.

The 5 litre jerrycan can be specified with a standard KS63 neck or a “Slit” 63 neck, which is compatible with closed transfer systems.

The 500ml, 1 litre and 5 litre sizes have been UN-approved in line with the requirements of the crop protection sector.

Several engraving options are also available for individual branding and on-shelf differentiation and logos. UN accreditations can also be incorporated into the finished containers.

Some user-friendly options include measuring scale engravings and a visi-stripe for the easy monitoring of contents.

Earlier this year, RPC Sæplast introduced Varibox, a heavy duty IBC container intended for food manufacturers and processors to keep detergents and disinfectants safe.

The IBC container features an inner bottle-capable of holding 1000 litres of product, which is fully enclosed by an outer container.

If the bottle is damaged, any spilled liquid is held in the second enclosure. This is claimed to ensure maximum safety along with enhanced efficiency throughout the distribution chain, during transportation, storage and when in use.

The Varibox also features a spill-free connector that can be connected to pumps or dosing systems to create a safe and closed dispensing operation with minimized risk of contacting the chemical.
