Corrugated group in the UK, Rigid Containers has ordered its third Latitude casemaker, PP10-25 flexo, which will be installed at the company's Selby plant during April 2013.
Rigid Containers signed the deal with Latitude’s UK sales representative, GTS in this regard. The new top die-cutting machine has the capacity to handle a wide range of work including shelf-ready packaging boxes.
Rigid Containers managing director Richard Coward said the company is continuing with its expansion strategy in the UK and the addition of the new casemaker will further improve its position in the market.
"The machine is identical to the one we installed earlier this year in Desborough, and it effectively gives us full ‘mirror’ capabilities between the two production facilities," Coward said.
Over the coming three years, Rigid Containers expects to increase its volumes by as much as 25%.
