US-based PCC (Plastics Color), a supplier of color concentrates, compounds and additive masterbatches for the plastics industry, has announced that they will begin marketing PCC’s SoluPLAs TN 920259 Blue Tint masterbatch.
The company, which originally developed the product for Ingeo producer nature works, will now market the product directly as a new grade within its SoluPLAs portfolio.
SoluPLAs TN 920259 is only one product in PCC’s line of PLA enhancements. Its solutions extend PLA applications in the market, with options for control, adjustment of PLA clarity, UV protection qualities, and noise reduction, said the company.
According to the company, SoluPLAs biopolymer products are just one of the offerings in PCC’s lines of sustainable polymer solutions.
PCC manufactures its line of SoluPET colorants and other resins made partially from post-consumer regrind and also offers the SoluPur line of biodegradable polymers as part of its commitment to a sustainable future.
