Pharmaceutical and healthcare contract packaging company Packaging Coordinators (PCI) has announced new investments in its Rockford facilities in the US.
In May 2013, PCI acquired the services of AndersonBrecon, which was earlier known as Anderson Packaging.
PCI Rockford vice president and CEO Peter Belden said the Anderson business has grown steadily from the late 1960s until today.
"Just in the last four years, we’ve experienced record growth in our business," Belden added.
According to the company, its capital investment in the Rockford facilities will include additional equipment capacity and expansion of refrigerated storage.
PCI operates nine facilities in the greater Rockford area and its Rockford business consists of about 1,200 employees at eight facilities.
