NVC Netherlands Packaging Centre will hold a world seminar on 5 March 2013 in the town of Gouda, the Netherlands, in a bid to try and solve what is referred to as ‘the Packaging Paradox’.
The paradox will bear in mind the fact that packaging must protect and secure the product during its travel towards the end-user (consumer), while also allowing the safe and easy use of the product at the point of use (consumption).
Also held alongside will be the 2nd World Seminar on Accessible and Inclusive Design in Packaging, which will includes speakers from Japan, Korea, USA, Germany, the Netherlands, UK, France and Sweden.
It will highlight the accessible (inclusive) design, which addresses the need to enable as many people as possible to unpack products safely, effectively and easily.
The speakers will come from different industries such as packaged products like soft drinks, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, food and dairy products and consumer electronics.
