US-based NJM Packaging is all set to introduce the new Cremer CF-622 FS Tablet Counter, which has been designed to meet the needs of the pharmaceutical industry for better output and reliable tablet counting.
The counter features a new concept in counting based on a modular design, servo driven and servo controlled vibrators and memory flaps, combined with technology and simple operating procedures.
According to the company, the Cremer CF-622 FS Tablet Counter comprises a main frame with fixed side panels that house two or three counting modules, each containing six 22mm wide channels.
NJM Packaging vice president Dan Lapierre said the counter has 100% accuracy with guaranteed outputs up to 150bpm, based on 100-count bottles.
"The actual speed depends on the bottle neck and product flow as well as the overall shape and size of the product," Lapierre said.
The machine has no removable modules, simplifies cleaning and reduces maintenance costs, while its simplicity design allows the operator to accomplish changeovers with repeatable set-ups, using no tools.
