McDonald’s has introduced a new global packaging design in collaboration with Boxer, the UK and Chicago based brand design agency, to use in its restaurants across the world.
According to McDonald’s, the new look has been designed for carry-out bags and fountain beverage cups.
The illustrated designs will show content based on McDonald’s food such as ingredients, menu items as well as interesting food facts.
The cups and bags will also include a QR code, which provides the customers of McDonald’s about nutrition information from mobile devices.
Boxer chief creative officer Paul Castledine said the company is the architect of all significant global packaging graphic design innovations for McDonald’s since last 10 years.
"We are extremely proud of that relationship and our role in helping share McDonald’s food quality story," Castledine added.
