Marriner Marketing Communications has collaborated with its US-based client Zatarain’s, a food company, to update the packaging for its retail breading line.
Zatarain’s existing packaging has been replaced with a new look that would attract the attention of customers and maintain consistency across the flavor varieties.
The new packaging, which is currently in Wegman’s and Food Lion, features new cooking tip icons, improved food images and is expected to affect more than 20 stock-keeping units across various packaging structures as well as sizes.
According to Marriner, the packaging also includes Zatarain’s brand elements such as the red awning, Jazzman image and signature yellow color to allow shoppers to identify the brand on the shelves quickly.
Marriner director of packaging development Linda Henley said, "Our redesign brings added visual appeal and consumer convenience — two very important things for the nation’s leading maker of New Orleans-style food."
