UK-based Kallik, a provider of centralised end-to-end artwork and content management capabilities, announced that global medical device specialist Coloplast will begin rolling out its AMS360 artwork management solution in January 2013.
Coloplast labelling & packaging head Jette Byg said they were about to upgrade their internal systems when they saw Kallik at an exhibition, bringing a completely different perspective to the way they could manage the content management activities.
"Kallik centralises everything and uses a database to store approved content, which only needs to be amended in one place. We will be able to re-use approved sentences, so won’t have to get each change approved in every territory. The impact of this will be huge," Byg said.
Coloplast estimates that by using the Kallik AMS360 solution, it will be able to reduce its labeling and packaging resources due to much shorter change management cycles.
It will also reduce drastically instances of wrong labels being printed, and product recalls, ensuring products go out with correct, readable labels.
Kallik is a global provider of software solutions that simplify complex artwork management, generation and approval challenges for regulated industries. It helps organizations to reduce the risk of product recall, guarantee product and brand consistency, mitigate risk and reduce costs.
