UK-based JDO Brand Design & Innovation has joined forces with Shepherd Neame to create a beer range for the company’s Whitstable Bay brand, which is currently sold as premium ale in cask and as organic ale in bottle form.
JDO created a clean and fresh design, which includes a sketch of an oyster dredger bringing vitality as well as craftsmanship to an existing brand.
The color palette comprising soft pale blues, sunshine orange and sage green, contrast with black typography and help differentiate the brand.
Instead of traditional script lettering, an asymmetric quirkiness and a polished metallic finish have been introduced.
Shepherd Neame marketing manager Mark Miller said, "JDO’s new designs for Whitstable Bay mean that we can expand the range and drive the brand forward for its next phase of development."
