Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) is organising the bi-annually 'International Summit for Packaging Industry' on October 1 and 2 at Powai, Mumbai. The speakers of the conference would speak on new technologies and trends on packaging. The conference would also provide opportunity to network with alumnus and packaging suppliers.
Subodh Kant Sahay, Hon’ble Minister for Food Processing Industries, Government of India will inaugurate the summit. In addition, Keith Pearson, President, World Packaging Organisation and other dignitaries from Asian Packaging Federation will also be present.
About 30 speakers from the various parts of the world would present papers at this event. It is expected that over 700 delegates from India as well as from the adjoining countries would be participating in this conference.
The exhibition is being organised with the support of 16 Industry Associations besides World Packaging Organisation and Asian Packaging Federation. The event is also supported by Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Food Processing Industry, Ministry of Textiles and Government of Maharashtra, India.
