International logistics service provider IFCO has announced the introduction of a suite of new Reusable Plastic Container (RPC) solutions that provide the company’s Fresh Market Advantage to its grocery retail partners.
According to IFCO, the Fresh Market Advantage merchandising solutions combine the RPC design, supply chain logistics and retail merchandising support.
The solutions were developed in cooperation with retailers and growers in North America to ensure that the supply and demand requirements of the industry are met with the aim of increasing sales of fresh produce for RPC users.
IFCO Strategic Market Development director Hillary Femal said using packaging that protects product quality is critical to connecting with shoppers and increasing sales.
"Consumers want to see beautiful, high-quality product and the information they need to make their decision. Our Fresh Market Advantage solutions are the most effective way to meet their needs."
IFCO provides reusable containers to the fresh food sector and handles all RPC logistics from distributions to cleaning to re-entry into the supply chain.
