US-based supplier of plastic-based multipackaging systems, Hi-Cone has launched a new orientation machine, which can pack up to 2,400 drinks cans per minute for maximum visual impact, in Great Britain.
The new machine promotes minimum use of packaging, as drinks brands can display key images and messages across the cans themselves.
The machine – model 9352 is suitable for use in the production of any kind of beverage sold in cans, and is very flexible; it can accommodate a variety of packaging styles, top lift or side lift carriers and merchandising panels.
The machine operates at high speed and is easily, quickly changed to deal with different heights of cans, pack sizes and styles of the company’s multipack carriers.
Hi-Cone business development director Europe Ton Hoppenbrouwers said the multipacks of four, six, eight and twelve offer brand owners an impact on-shelf billboard displays, reports packagingeurope.com.
