UK-based drinks manufacturer Halewood International’s brand John Crabbie’s is set to extend the reach of its Alcoholic Ginger Beer by introducing the drink in cans.
According to Halewood International, the 4x440ml green packs offer a convenient alternative format for the off-trade.
Halewood International director of innovation Richard Clark said, since its launch in 2009, Crabbie’s has achieved success within the off-trade and the company is planning to offer consumers more choice and occasions to enjoy it.
"The canned ale category has huge potential in the UK," Clark said.
Together with the new packaging, the product will be supported by Crabbie’s through national TV and radio marketing campaigns in autumn 2012.
