Adhesive solutions manufacturer Glue Dots International (GDI) has introduced its new packaging technology, the QuikDot Pro, a pressure sensitive adhesive applicator to the European market.
The refillable, pocket-size QuickDot Pro is designed for time savings and ease of use and to seal paperboard, corrugate food and beverage carrier packaging. It allows for instant repairs while protecting brand integrity.
GDI vice president and general manager Bruce Church said the QuikDot Pro was introduced as a new cost-saving, on-the-go alternative to traditional tape pads and high temperature glue guns.
"When food and beverage packs are broken, returns can be costly and time-consuming," Church said.
The durable, compact adhesive applicator QuikDot Pro has been engineered to apply the right amount of adhesives instantly and its design offers a new level of flexibility and convenience. Its footprint and spacing are engineered to provide optimal coverage while eliminating waste.
"This applicator and custom adhesive formula offers a new market for Glue Dots International products, and we are excited about the opportunities it will open for our prospective customers and distributors in Europe," Church added.
