German-based Gerresheimer will be exhibiting its comprehensive product portfolio from simple pharmaceutical vials to complex drug delivery systems and plastic packaging products at Taropak from 8-11 October 2012.
The company said its special multi-layer design of the MultiShell vials with a polyamide core layer improves safety and prevents leakages even when exposed to high mechanical loads.
Gerresheimer CEO Michal Malkowski said the demand is growing in Eastern Europe for application-friendly system products.
"Our production plant in the Polish town of Boleslawiec enables us to bring our development and manufacturing operations close to our customers," Malkowski said.
Many a special container and application system were manufactured by the company’s Polish subsidiary, Gerresheimer Boleslawiec.
According to the company, its plastic packaging specializes in solid pharmaceuticals such as drugs and powders to containers for liquid drugs, including ophthalmic and rhinological applications.
Its tubular glass division will showcase a range of prefillable syringes, which will include its RTF sterile syringes.
