Product lifecycle and reverse logistics solutions provider in the US Genco has formalized its existing contract packaging capabilities into a new business unit.
By providing integrated packaging, the unit at present serves multiple Tier 1 customers in the consumer, technology and healthcare markets. The packaging increases visibility and minimizes unnecessary costs.
The company provides execution using its network of facilities throughout North America, featuring club store packaging, shrink wrapping, pallet displays, clamshells, blister packs, cartoning, pre- and post-holiday projects, and specialty products.
Genco will also feature visibility to ensure that all marketing, manufacturing, and supply chain goals are well aligned.
Extensive and on-going cost analysis will be carried out to ensure that all unnecessary costs ranging from designing new packaging alternatives and identifying less expensive material options are removed.
Genco contract packaging president David Mabon said the unit enables the company to deliver initial and on-going value to its customer’s bottom line.
"We will evolve the Contract Packaging industry by making packaging a competitive advantage for our customers," Mabon added.
