Swiss manufacturing company Gallus said it will introduce the Gallus Labelmaster Advanced line label printing press with multiweb feature at this month’s Labelexpo 2017 in Brussels, Belgium.
The company will also showcase the basic versions of the label printing press at the fair.
Gallus said that the Labelmaster Advanced line’s modular design is a combination of maximum flexibility and a high degree of automation.
The company claims that the new press provides label printers an exceptional variety of processes. Among them, the different finishing and printing units can be quickly changed and effortlessly at any machine position, stated Gallus.
The Swiss manufacturer revealed that all the label printing presses in the new line have the same special platform design which enables them to be configured to cater to the specific needs of customers.
Labelmaster Advanced presses come with open interfaces making it a highly secure investment, said Gallus. The machine series allows users to flexibly respond to future changes in the industry.
In the new platform system, the Gallus Labelmaster is made up of modules which are available in three different variants. Each of the module features two printing units.
The new machine platform is claimed to have an extremely short web path of 1.4m between printing units while its high maximum speed is 200m/min.
Gallus says that through an HMI touch panel, the press can be centrally controlled. A manual intervention is also supported to allow operators make changes easily and quickly.
It further adds that no matter the setup speed, the register accuracy of the Gallus Labelmaster line is striking as per its manufacturer without the need of even the slightest correction.
