Printing and packaging papers manufacturer FutureMark Paper Group has introduced its new high-recycled, coated digital inkjet paper under the brand name Future Jet.
The new digital inkjet paper is said to be compatible with dye as well as pigment-based printers.
FutureMark president and CEO Steve Silver said that the new Future Jet digital inkjet paper provides better print quality, consumes less ink and does not require extended media dryer.
"Not only did we develop the first coated recycled digital ink jet paper, but we’ve also created a product that performs beautifully with outstanding print fidelity," Silver added.
Available in 45 and 50 pound basis weights, Future Jet paper features a matte finish, a high brightness rating of 85 and at least 90% recycled content.
The company’s new Future Jet can be available through printing papers distributor Horizon Paper.
FutureMark will exhibit its Future Jet digital paper at PRINT 2013 to be held from 8-12 September at McCormick Place in Chicago.
