German specialty chemicals company Evonik Industries has announced the launch of the new TEGO Airex 921 that has been designed for UV-curable printing inks and coatings for food packaging, specifically.
According to the company, the silicone-free TEGO Airex 921 comprises raw materials completely compliant with the A list of Swiss Ordinance SR 817.023.21, Annex 6.
The product, which contains 100% active matter, is free of organic solvents and made of approximately 60% renewable resources. It is a widely compatible deaerator and can be used in clear and pigmented formulations without impact on the overprintability.
Evonik is offering TEGO Airex 921 as part of its new generation of deaerators with a focus on modern formulations and resource efficiency.
