UK-based Jimmy’s Iced Coffee has joined forces with DS Smith Packaging to develop retail ready packaging (RRP) for the company’s new range of iced coffee.
DS Smith produced a flexographic printed retail ready pack, which is color coded to help the shopper navigate the range, and replaced a former plain white RRP.
The new packing is made using DS Smith’s R-Flute material, which offers a flatter surface for better printing and presentation.
Jimmy’s Iced Coffee founder and director Jim Cregan said working with DS Smith has improved the company’s appreciation of the importance of secondary packaging and its role in the product development process.
"DS Smith has helped us to create a pack that communicates and promotes our product and developed a solution that was innovative and effective at the same time," Cregan added.
