CytoSport, a producer of sport nutrition protein beverages in the US, will launch Muscle Milk, its ready-to-drink (RTD) protein enhanced beverage, in eight limited-edition Collegiate themed bottles.
The program will include Georgia Tech, University of Miami, Ohio State, University of Colorado, Arizona State, University of California-Berkeley, USC and UCLA.
The limited edition 14oz Muscle Milk College themed bottles will be branded with school logos and will be available at retail outlets in and around campus.
The beverage company said that it will run region specific out-of-home advertising and radio programming along with hosting a series of student-focused events on and off campus at some of the participating schools.
CytoSport CMO Nikki Brown said that with 30 sponsored collegiate sports programs using Muscle Milk products, this is a great way to showcase the company’s continued support of collegiate athletics.
“Football season is the perfect time to launch our bottle program as student’s enthusiasm is at a high and everyone is proud to represent their school’s colors,” Brown said.
Muscle Milk Ready-to-Drink is a protein-enhanced functional beverage that promotes exercise recovery, lean muscle growth, and healthy, sustained energy.
