Corbion Purac bioplastics will unveil several bio-based applications based on most recent developments in Poly Lactic Acid (PLA) from strategic partnerships at the K trade fair in Dusseldorf, Germany.
The applications have been developed by the company in collaboration with its partners in a number of industries such as packaging, automotive, home interiors and sporting goods.
Additionally, the company will also unveil a distributor’s corner, which is aimed at offering a platform for interested parties to come into direct contact with their local PLA resin partner.
In order to achieve this, the company will leverage its partnerships to drive PLA innovation and stimulate increased bioplastic adoption across the value chain.
According to the company, PLA which combines high biocontent with a low carbon footprint is a better replacement for PS, PP and ABS.
