UK-based Contigo, a brand of innovative travel mugs and hydration bottles, launched the new Morgan and the vacuum-insulated Monroe ‘To-Go’ Tumblers.
The new additions to the Contigo line of travel mugs are suited for busy, on-the-go consumers.
Contigo CEO Sami Elsaden said the Monroe and Morgan are the latest examples of how Contigo seeks consumer feedback and trends, which help covey to its product research and development process to deliver options that meet the needs of consumers.
"The new Morgan and the vacuum-insulated Monroe ‘To Go’ Tumblers with AUTOSEAL technology eliminate an extra step for people who previously had to transfer their beverage from a mug or cup to their travel mug, so they can more conveniently brew and get on with their busy day," Elsaden said.
A recent survey revealed that nearly three-quarters of all travel mug owners use it in the car, making the coffee drinking experience more convenient and portable for consumers.
It also found that about 50% of travel mug owners use single-serve brewers and 25% of them brew their beverage in a mug or cup and then transfer it to their travel mug.
