Brand design agency in the UK, Coley Porter Bell has designed packaging for The Chivas Brothers’ Blend whisky, the latest member of the Chivas Regal range.
As part of the design, Coley Porter selected the purple color, which bridges the gap between 12 and 18 year olds and also balances tradition and modernity.
In order to relate the story back to the brand’s beginnings, extracts from the Chivas brother’s original royal warrant have been used. The top of the brand is silk screened on to the bottle directly providing a modern reference back to the Chivas family.
Coley Porter Bell design director Richard Clayton said the agency has created a design that is vibrant with an on-shelf presence.
"The Chivas Brothers’ Blend is a unique product so we wanted to give it its own distinctive identity while being sympathetic to the broader family of Chivas Regal," Clayton said.
