Coca-Cola Great Britain is all set to launch a new slimline 250ml can across its brands Coca-Cola, Diet Coke and Coca-Cola Zero.
To be introduced in addition to the standard 330ml can, the new pack reflects the company’s intention to offer a better choice of refreshing products to consumers.
Coca-Cola Great Britain & Ireland general manager Jon Woods said the 250ml can is an addition to its portfolio and offers people a handy Coca-Cola, Diet Coke or Coca-Cola Zero at better value.
"It also forms part of our ongoing commitment to provide the people who enjoy our drinks with greater choice in terms of calories and portion size, supporting our goal of helping to promote greater awareness of energy balance in diets across the UK," Woods added.
The can will be available in convenience stores for on-the-go shoppers across the UK from mid-July.
In 2012, the company launched its PlantBottle plastic made from up to 22.5% plant-based materials.
