Chadwicks Sleeves, part of the flexible packaging division of the Clondalkin Group has created a shrink sleeve branding solution for the UK-based Bayer Garden’s one liter trigger bottles range.
Bayer Garden product manager Alison Mulvaney said all of the company’s products are approved by HSE making the job difficult as it has to include a lot of regulatory text on them.
"Utilising a sleeve allows us to marry up high quality brand design whilst taking advantage of the additional space they offer for decoration and information," Mulvaney said.
According to Bayer, the new look and feel offered by the sleeve is expected to increase the company’s sales.
Bayer’s range of 13 variants including weedkillers, insecticides, fungicides and animal repellents will be on sale in B&Q, Homebase, Wilkinsons, Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s plus various hardware stores and garden centers.
