Global branding and design agency Blue Marlin has created packaging for Freedrinks’ new range of soft drinks Burst, Crush and Zest.
The agency moved ZEO’s graphics to stylish boldness from understated minimalism.
Russian iconography has been introduced as part of the design to communicate the brand’s origin – A red star crests the cap and a silhouette of St Basil’s Cathedral rises within the barcode.
Blue Marlin also refined ZEO’s bottle structure for mass production and reduced the curves, retaining the subtle twist.
Blue Marlin London creative director Simon Pendry said, "Rather than relying as much on the subtleties of mystery and sensuality which were so prevalent in ZEO’s market debut, the new design focuses on bold standout and the intriguing origin of the drink."
