Advanced Vision Technology (AVT) is all set to introduce its new ZeroSet Automated Inspection Workflow at LabelExpo Europe taking place from September 24-27 in Brussels, Belgium.
ZeroSet, which is the result of collaboration between AVT and pre-production workflow solutions provider Esko, addresses market needs for inspection on shorter runs.
The system will also better support the growing market of digital printing presses and makes possible universal inspection.
In addition, ZeroSet enables printing press operators to stay away from defining inspection system data or print information during the printing process.
ZeroSet is enabled by a link between the prepress workflow with the AVT Automatic Inspection Solution integrated by Esko with its Automation Engine version 12 (AE12) design and workflow software.
AVT corporate business development vice president Gal Shamri said the cooperation of Esko goes in-line with the company’s proposal to provide an integrated quality and process control solution to their mutual customers.
"The ZeroSet answers the market demand to enable automatic inspection on any job length and to specifically support the growing digital printing process," Shamri added.
Esko’s cooperation with AVT is set to extend the integration of end-to-end label and packaging print production workflow into the pressroom.
According to AVT, the inspection system also corresponds with HP Indigo Print Your Future concept, which will be demonstrated on the WS6600 press at the event.
Digital print and complete workflow support provider HP identified that such solution will benefit customers, which requires inspection and quality control solution, adapted to the developing world of digital print, and short runs and web to print specifically.
