Automated Packaging Systems has launched the new AirPouch FastWrap protective packaging system that inflates and produces cushioning wrap on demand.
The compact, all-electric AirPouch FastWrap unit inflates packing materials at 20m per minute and produces protective wrap and tubes on demand at the workstation.
According to the company, the system features operator-friendly controls for ease of use and maximum flexibility.
Intelligent design of the FastWrap system manages heat, air pressure and speed consistently in order to produce quality seals.
The system also features an automatic winder, machine stand, storage hopper, footswitch, and custom engineered solutions for packing station requirements.
FastWrap protective packing materials are used for wrapping, interleaving, and block-and-brace applications.
FastWrap cushioning wrap features a honeycomb pattern that allows air to transfer between cells for product protection as well as multi-directional wrapping. FastWrap block-and-brace tubes feature the company’s EZ-Tear perforations between each tube and make it easy for the packer to tear off the amount of material needed exactly.
