Design Futures has been chosen to develop packaging for Ampleforth Abbey Beer produced by Ampleforth Abbey monks, which dates back to the 17th century.
Having launched in June, the identity from new packaging is set to spread across the Ampleforth Abbey Beer product range, reported thedrum.co.uk.
Ampleforth Abbey commercial operations director Sean McFetrich said the design was not supposed to be too commercial yet appealing for the consumer.
The firm said it looked forward to a visual identity for the growing range of Ampleforth products including the cider wine.
Little Valley Brewery had availed the services of Design Futures, after which several monks approached it for the rebranding of Ampleforth Abbey Beer range when it first opened.
