Veran Medical Technologies, a developer of new minimally invasive delivery devices for oncology, has named Jason Pesterfield as the company's new president and chief executive officer (CEO).
Previously, Pesterfield served at Stryker as global vice president and general manager of global surgical navigation business.
Pesterfield also served in global leadership and innovation, sales and customer care leadership, global marketing and research and development.
Veran Medical Technologies board chairman Greg Johnson said Jason Pesterfield brings to Veran over 17 years of in-depth experience in the medical device navigation field.
"He has an impressive track record of leading navigation business, focused on transforming an early stage technology into a profitable, high growth business," Johnson added.
"Jason has proved the successful execution of positioning business strategically for profitable growth, and we have great confidence that he will use his talent and experience to lead Veran to the next level."
