ReachMD, a provider of professional medical news, information and education, has appointed Ken (Kenneth) Korber in the new role of vice president of Continuing Medical Education, with responsibility to further expand the integral business unit for the company.
Korber is both a clinician and a medical educator, who began his career as a surgical and cardiovascular physician assistant with staff appointments within both the Northwestern University healthcare system and Cook County Hospital.
Ken served as the senior director of Strategic Development at CE Outcomes recently, with prior experience as a director of CME at the Pragmaton Office of Medical Education (POME) and CV Therapeutics.
ReachMD CEO Gary Epstein said providing free continuing education to medical professionals is their core objective.
"Ken will help us to expand our professional development business and take ReachMD to new heights. He is an expert in the field and a strong advocate of evidence based clinical practice. I am excited and proud to have him join our team," Epstein said.
