Toshiba America Medical Systems has introduced Precision Imaging technology available on the AplioTM XG ultrasound system. It would help healthcare institutions increase productivity while improving patient care in diagnostic imaging, says the company. Precision Imaging technology is said to acquire ultrasound images of unmatched clarity and resolution, enabling users to see more clinical detail.
Precision Imaging is a multi-resolution signal processing technology, which evaluates images sequentially in line but also includes information from adjacent lines to enhance the amount of information obtained.
Precision Imaging technology by providing more detailed ultrasound images; it is expected to increases productivity and diagnostic confidence.
