PHM buys two US-based DME firms

Vertess announced that healthcare care firm Patient Home Monitoring (PHM) has completed the acquisition of two firms, including Legacy Oxygen and Sleep Management.

Vertess has facilitated the acquisition of two US-based durable medical equipment (DME) companies.

Legacy Oxygen is a Kentucky-based firm that reports around $3.5m annual revenue, while Sleep Management is a Louisiana-based company with operations in 19 states and reports $45m annualized revenue.

Vertess managing director Bradley Smith said: "We are continuing to strengthen our position as very successful M+A advisors for DME and related healthcare companies across the US.

"There are outstanding opportunities for both sellers and investors in this marketplace."

PHM is involved in providing diverse products and services to improve outcomes, reduce hospital readmissions and control costs.
