LI-COR Biosciences, a manufacturer of imaging platforms, has launched its new Odyssey CLx Infrared Imaging System.
The new Infrared Imaging System features new autoscan function which eliminates image saturation and provides a dynamic range greater than six logs.
The Odyssey CLx utilizes the company’s Image Studio software which features an intuitive, application-driven ribbon interface.
The new imaging system is used in various applications including, cell-based assays, microwell assays, protein arrays, protein and nucleic acid detection, quantitative Western blots and small animal imaging.
LI-COR senior marketing product manager Jeff Harford said the new autoscan function offered by the CLx guarantees a complete dataset over more than six logs, allowing researchers to have increased limits of detection without the need to optimize settings.
