KeyVive rolls out SMS mHealth solution

KeyVive, a diabetes technology company, has unveiled HIPAA-compliant SMS mHealth technology for people not only affected by diabetes, but also with other diseases.

The SMS system utilises technology with existing cell phone/carriers to provide an effective way for practitioners and patients to communicate, store conversations and integrate with electronic records.

KeyVive president and co-founder David Greenholtz said that their company’s mission is to provide the best healthcare opportunities to professionals in the industry, allowing people to succeed in managing their disease, saving time and money.

“Pilot groups are currently being implemented and we are very excited to see how individuals will use their phones to improve their outcomes,” Greenholtz said.

Los Angeles diabetologist David Kayne said whether patients are communicating with their pharmacist, diabetes educator or doctor, most patients reach out via text messaging only and they now have an effective way to connect with community and make a real difference.
