HSBC buys additional stake in Opto Circuits

HSBC Global Investment Fund, a provider of array of asset classes and investment styles, has purchased 0.52% stake in Opto Circuits (India), a global medtech conglomerate.

The acquisition enables HSBC Global to buy 1,262,502 shares of Opto Circuits at Rs 120.86 per share, aggregating to INR152m ($2.75m), reports dealcurry.

Opto Group is involved in developing, manufacturing, marketing and distributing invasive and non-invasive patient monitoring devices such as sensors, pulse oximeters, multi-parameter monitors, anesthesia gas bench monitors, cardiac monitoring systems, automated external defibrillators and vascular diagnostic equipments.

In addition, Opto Circuits (India), through its subsidiary, provides information technology consulting, global positioning systems and electronic design automation services in India.
