Freudenberg Medical has introduced three new medical device technologies at the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics Conference (TCT), which is the annual scientific symposium of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation.
The technologies are aimed at medical device firms that seek to accelerate time to market with a novel device, design, and process solution.
They include launched FlexSeal introdcer sheath, FlexSeal hemostasis valve, and Composer deflectable catheter handle platform at the event.
The new devices will enable medical device firms to access new design options for improving next generation catheter and delivery systems and reduce time when building new feature sets into products
FlexSeal introducer sheath with hydrophilic coating is said to enable support access for large bore catheter procedures.
FlexSeal hemostasis valve has been designed to improve hemostasis performance when integrated into next generation catheter or delivery systems.
Composer deflectable catheter handle platform helps customers to reduce project lead times and costs while adding next generation features into product lines that use catheters, introducer sheaths, and delivery systems.
With 11 manufacturing operations, Freudenberg Medical offers a range of solutions from high precision silicone and thermoplastic componentsand tubing to coating technology, finished devices, and solutions for minimally invasive, handheld, and catheter-based devices.
Freudenberg Medical CEO Mitch Moeller said: “Freudenberg Medical has been fine tuning these product solutions for over 18 months and we are extremely pleased with the results.
“As a partner for innovation, we now offer our customers a growing family of finished device, design, and process solutions to help give them a competitive edge in development.”
