Untreated chronic wounds are clinically affecting many patients and will increase medical cost from current $113bn to even with competitive bidding starting by the end of 2012, according to the company.

EquinoxO2 Medical president and chief executive officer Rian Mallari said, "We are very proud to offer patients and clinicians the HALO XP Pump System, the latest offering in our expanding npwt product portfolio for the successful treatment of all chronic wounds and affordable access to negative pressure therapy."
