Allezoe Medical (ALZM), a subsidary of Organ Transport Systems (OTS), has appointed Michael Gelmon as new president and CEO.
Gelmon was the shareholder, director and head of Acquisitions and Real Estate for Domino’s Pizza of Canada.
Gelmon plans to explore opportunities for acquisition of medical device companies.
ALZM’s former CEO Michael Holder is set to develop Organ Transport Systems’ LifeCradle technology which preserves human organs.
The company is in preparations for clinical trials and will be prioritizing the applications of its technology to donor heart preservation.
ALZM said in addition to the appointment of Gelmon as CEO, Allezoe’s Board of Directors also established committees of the Board of Directors, and appointed members of those committees.
