Air Techniques unveils ProVecta S-Pan Panoramic X-ray

US-based dental equipment manufacturer Air Techniques has introduced its ProVecta S-Pan Panoramic X-ray, for dental radiography.

The new X-ray offers 17 image programs, and is available in just seven seconds, said the company.

Out of 17 programs, four are specifically designed for children, which provide reduced radiation exposure.

The company noted that S-Pan image technology starts with the patient specific path that the Csl sensor follows and continues as 20 layers of images are collected, sliced into 20,000 image segments, and then one sharp image is automatically constructed from the best selections.

Patient comfort can be achieved by height adjustment, while three laser guides will help in outward facing orientation and positioning.

Air Techniques digital product manager Frank Seipp said: "We are thrilled to offer such a high quality panoramic X-ray.

"The best possible images are delivered every time automatically by ProVecta, resulting in quicker and easier diagnosis."
