Zurich, a global insurer, has decided to deploy Accenture Duck Creek software as its core policy processing system to multiple lines of business in the UK, to quickly develop and deploy products while enhancing customer service.
Zurich chief information officer Markus Nordlin said: "Delivering products and solutions that meet our customers’ needs is imperative for us – and underpinning that with first class customer service will always be our primary aim.
"We continually look for new ways to ensure that we can do this and having the right technology is a big part of the equation."
Featuring flexible and modern architecture, Accenture Duck Creek Policy software supports the entire policy life cycle process from point of sale through to renewal.
The insurer said that the new platform will improve its existing infrastructure, while allowing it to streamline processes, define workflows and provide flexibility in managing products.
Additionally, the core policy processing system will assist in improving the overall efficiency of the operating model and sales distribution channels.
Accenture Duck Creek global managing director Michael Jackowski said: "We are pleased that they chose Accenture Duck Creek Policy as their new policy processing software and that they are expanding its footprint to multiple lines."
The Accenture Duck Creek suite comprises Duck Creek Billing, Claims and Policy solutions, which can be implemented individually or as part of a broader migration strategy.
