Swiss insurer Zurich Financial Services Group has appointed Isabelle Conner as group chief marketing officer, effective from 1 October 2011.
As group chief marketing officer, Conner will be responsible for leading the marketing function in line with Zurich’s strategic objectives.
Based in Zurich, Conner will report to chief administrative officer Christian Orator.
She succeeds Arun Sinha who left the company at the end of July 2011, and will drive forward a rigorous marketing organization, further developing and implementing Zurich’s global brand strategy.
Conner comes to Zurich from ING where she was global head of marketing since 2004, before joining ING Group, she worked for Deutsche Bank, Weiss, Peck & Greer, Prudential Securities and was based in various locations in Europe and the US.
With around 60,000 people serving customers in more than 170 countries, Zurich offers a wide range of general insurance and life insurance products and services for individuals, small businesses, mid-sized and large companies as well as multinational corporations.
