Stewart announced today it has changed the name of its commercial services division from Stewart National Title Services (NTS) to Stewart Title Commercial Services.
The rename, which takes effect immediately, represents a unified focus on commercial services across the Stewart organization, provides a platform for the partnerships with our commercial customers, which are at the foundation of our services, and highlights Stewart’s global reach and footprint.
"The name change to Stewart Title Commercial Services coincides with the company’s overall realignment to enhance Stewart’s identity within the industry and the markets in which we do business. It provides a clear, direct description of exactly what we do and the customers we are dedicated to serving," said Matt Morris, chief executive officer of Stewart Information Services Corp. (NYSE-STC). "This updated identity will better convey that Stewart has experts ready to meet all commercial needs around the world."
Stewart Title Commercial Services provides a single point of contact for U.S. and multi-national customers for title insurance, title guaranty, underwriting and closing services for single and multi-site commercial transactions across the U.S. and in more than 80 countries around the world.
"Stewart will continue to offer our commercial customers the same exceptional service on every transaction and the division will be comprised of the same employees, but only with a new name," said Bruce Hawley, executive vice president and director of Stewart Title Commercial Services. "As all of our offices make the switch to Stewart Title Commercial Services, each of our customers’ single point of contact will remain the same."
