Solera Holdings acquires software applications firm See Progress

Solera Holdings, a provider of software and services to the automobile insurance claims processing industry, has purchased See Progress, a US-based provider of vehicle repair status software applications, for an undisclosed sum.

With the acquisition of See Progress, Solera further expands its product suite and continues to demonstrate its commitment to profitably grow the North American market by providing differentiated, high ROI products and services to insurers and collision repair shops.

Collision repair shops use Solera’s AutoWatch application to capture and transmit text and photo-based vehicle repair status to insurers and vehicle owners.

Solera Holdings founder, chairman and CEO Tony Aquila said consistent with the M-M-C (Management-Margin-Core) acquisition philosophy, the acquisition of See Progress will contribute to profitable growth by leveraging distribution capabilities across many insurance customers and 12,000+ collision repair customers throughout North America.
