Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG), a provider of life and health insurance in Latin America and the US, has appointed Scott Reitan as senior vice president of Administration and Information Technology.
In his new role, Reitan will be overseeing all of Pan-American Life’s corporate administration and information technology including the development of business solutions, strategy initiatives and tactical planning.
Additionally, he will head the CIO Council and Operations Council.
For the last 18 months, Reitan has been engaged with Pan-American Life as a consultant guiding the company through a series of strategic initiatives, including the initial transition efforts to the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance model.
Pan-American Life Insurance Group chairman of the board, president and CEO Jose Suquet said as a financial service industry veteran and CPA with more than 30 years of corporate and consulting experience, Scott’s knowledge and expert insights have already been instrumental in identifying opportunities to enhance business, information technology and corporate administration processes.
