Pacifico Seguros, a Peru-based insurance company, has implemented Guidewire InsuranceSuite as its new underwriting, policy administration, billing and claims management platform.
The company has also deployed Guidewire Rating Management for more accurate control and responsiveness over rating and pricing and Reinsurance Management to deliver the required automation for effective management of ceded reinsurance.
The technologies were selected by Pacifico for replacement of its core systems, to support its shift from commercial lines to growing personal lines’ business.
Pacifico Seguros chief executive officer David Saettone said the selection was based on its out of the box capabilities that addressed the company’s requirements with almost no customization.
The InsuranceSuite is expected to enable Pacifico to quickly make product and rate changes, offer high service levels to customers and agents, and also improve operational efficiency through automation across underwriting, policy administration, billing and claims management processes.
Designed using a modular approach, the Guidewire InsuranceSuite enables insurers to select individual applications, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter or a pre-integrated set, according to their requirements and priorities.
