Manulife Financial and The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company have appointed Tsun-yan Hsieh to their boards.
Prior to joining Manulife, Hsieh worked for 30-years with McKinsey & Co, and founded the McKinsey Center for Asian Leadership and also worked with clients in more than 30 countries and industries.
Hsieh is a director of Sony Corporation and Bharti Airtel. He is also the chairman of LinHart Group, a firm he founded to provide leadership counseling.
Manulife chair Gail Cook-Bennett said Tsun-yan Hsieh has a deep understanding of how organizational dynamics and leadership development contribute to companies’ success in realizing their strategic goals. This experience, coupled with his knowledge of Asian and international business will be a great asset to Manulife.
