To allow LWP to be more proactive in their handling and speed up the flow of information between all parties to the claim
LWP Claims Solutions (LWP), a third-party administrator, has partnered DataCare for document imaging, management, workflows and storage. DataCare’s Ahshay solution works collaboratively with LWP’s proprietary claims management system, to provide a paperless workflow in a secure and reliable environment.
Under this collaboration, LWP would be able to capture the mail at the claim file level. This is expected to allow LWP to be more proactive in their handling and speed the flow of information between all parties to the claim.
Judy Adlam, president and CEO of LWP, said: “DataCare provides us with the ability to immediately view all claim mail upon receipt. Now the mail becomes available for viewing by the entire organization once it has been indexed to the claim file. Further, DataCare’s one-click feature allows us to share mail with our clients and vendor partners with the touch of a button.
“By having redundancy of stored images, and the ability to access our documents via the Internet, we have further enhanced our ability to continue our operation in the event of a disaster,” he added.
